What do you guys think. Helping a friend on search for a diamond. he's after something with a good cut... best for the money and all that. he's only really considering Whiteflash for purchasing online (we're UK based) as he knows several of our friends have purchased without problems from them, and he'd reserved a stone, but dillied and dallied when his local jewellers offered to present him with options and left it a week, and now that stone has been sold, so its back to the drawing board. (have shown him several options from other PS vendors, but he's not interested) so it comes down to 1) WF ACA 0.71ct H VVS2 for $2913 ps price (£1730) D: 61.4 T: 55 C: 34.9 P: 40.7 5.74-5.78X3.53 2) WF ES 0.76ct G VS2 for $3565 ps price (£2130) D: 61.2 T: 55 C: 34.9 P: 40.7 5.90-5.92X3.61 3) the jewellers 0.73ct E VS2 (GIA cert 15888902) roughly converted its $3821 (£1900) D: 60.2 T: 57 C: 34.5 P: 40.4 5.85-5.87X3.53 GIA cert link _____________________ I Post Therefore I Am I am no Expert (I'm not a drip under pressure ;) ) Seek Someone who is for better info |

I would go with the WF ACA for 3 reasons: 1) It's a WF ACA, can you really go wrong? 2) best price 3) it's upgradeable ![]()

Agree sort of with #1 & 2, but... re upgradeable...either ACA or ES would be do go with WF...cause he wants to, and we know more of what that means, but... Lord, I think you've swapped info about 2 stones. Do go with the ACA, but the one priced at $2913 I think is the one you want, but it's an H VS2, sized at .73, and it's an ACA for the quoted $2913. The one with features you posted above is also available, costing a bit more, at $3187. I think some us prefer not the VVS, and since it costs more, maybe the .73 ACA is the one. Check it out. Ira, you mean this one: 0.73 H VS2 ? then you've found the one that He origonally picked - reserved, then dillied and dallied... and waited too long so it came off the reserved list and has now been sold to someone else. so that was the first choice.and your right, in my typing quick i looked at the wrong listing: tis the $3187. So while yip its VVS2 theres not that much choice - the WF inventory has been decimated in the christmas rush! _____________________ |
