I am now on the hunt for my dream diamond.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

This is what I'm looking for

Round diamond, F - H colour, 0.8 - 1 carat, eye clean clarity, cut must be very good or above, $3000 limit

If anyone out there has time to help me look, that would be fantastic.

Thanks in advance...

Cheers from Down Under

Try "Pricescoping Your Diamond" from the PS home-page.  You can put in your criteria and see what's available!

And THAT'S my story and I'm sticking to it!

Welcome to Pricescope.  I did a search using this tool and choosing excellent to excellent for cut. http://www.pricescope.com/sift.aspx

Here is one but it may not be eye clean so ask the vendor; it's a little over budget. http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/H-SI2-Ideal-Cut-Round-Diamond-1111640.asp?b=16&a=12&c=77&cid=131

here is one in your budget; find out if they are eye clean.  GOG has a lifetime upgrade.

Aussie,

Welcome.

Skippy...I wonder if you're not sorting by price, which you can do, once you search.

Doing the search Skippy shows, and sorting by price...if you accept SI2, JA has 5 options...like 3 Hs and 2 Fs.  I think JA partners with an outfit in NY.  Not sure how much this is better than if they didn't partner with them...but it's maybe a no cost effort to ask if it's eye clean...so that's good.

BN has this option, only a tad pricier...that's SI1...but even those need to be checked if they're eye clean.

Took a second look.  Of those 5 from JA...4 have clouds...but not this one.
