So excited to so disappointed in 10 seconds!!

chocolatefudge Cut Rock Total Posts: 378 Last Post: 4/27/2009 Member Since: 10/28/2007	Hi Everyone, Me and bf called round to see my parents tonight and when I got there my dad pointed to a little wrapped present on the Christmas tree and said, "Take that home with you and open it first in the morning." Well the box was really little, exactly like a ring box!! I remembered my dad mentioning that my bf was calling round there last night and I wondered why at the time. Anyway I quickly put two and two together and decided that my bf had delivered the ring to my parents and asked them to give it to me to sort of throw me off the scent and my bf would propose first thing Christmas morning! My heart was beating so fast!! THEN..... I suddenly notice another identical box for my sister! Turns out my dad was sending us something both because it's our first Christmas not living at home. I was so gutted! I don't even know why I thought it would be a ring, I must be geting so desperate! We've been going out for almost 7 years and I so badly want to be engaged. I'm not holding any hope at all for a Christmas proposal as my bf has just brought a really big bag of pressies downstairs for me for tomorrow and none of them are ring size. I know he couldn't afford a ring and all of the presents. Oh well, on to next year......
