Hi guys,
We put this asscher on hold this morning. I have been looking at this stone for awhile now and we are going to at least order it and look at it in person.  Jonathan says the stone looks very white, even thought it is an I. The links are for a video and the stone itself. So please let me know your thoughts.  Thanks agian.

I love that GOG does those videos, it's really helpful. I think the stone is great! I'm assuming you haven't seen it in natural light to see how the I color looks? I mean, ideally you could swap a higher color grade for a slightly lower clarity grade, but I wouldn't push you to keep looking since this one seems so well-cut. The depth, table and crown height are right in my sweet spot, I love a deepish stone with smaller table and a higher crown height so you get that fire. Great choice!!

I love it too.  If you get it home and the I is too warm... you can always return it.  Go for it!

Thanks for the feedback.  NE Lady, I know what you mean about the color/clarity issue.  The problem is that there just arent that many stones out right now without having to call some in.  With the holidays approaching we thought we would take a look at this one and if I didnt work out have some brought in after christmas.  I've been looking at this stone for a month now, so I'm really excited to see it in person.

It is very beautiful!  I'll tell you honestly that I have seen Tacori's emerald cut stone that is I color, and I couldn't see the slightest tint to it. So I think you may be pleasantly surprised about the color!

~~~ When in doubt...don't.~~~
"It is also important for the State to inculcate in its subjects an aversion to any 'conspiracy theory of history' for a search for 'conspiracies' means a search for motives and an attribution of responsibility for historical misdeeds."
-Murray N. Rothbard, in The Anatomy of the State
John Swinton [1829-1901] Chief Editorial Writer of the New York Times (Considered "the Dean of his Profession" by his peers), when asked to toast an 'Independent Press' in a gathering at the National Press Club, circa 1880
"There is no such thing in America as an independent press unless it is in the country towns. You know it, and I know it. There is not one of you who dare express an honest opinion. If you express it you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid... for keeping my honest opinions out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for doing similar things....
The business of the New York journalist is to distort the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of Mammon, and sell his country and race for his daily bread, or for what is about the same thing, his salary. You know this, and I know it and what foolery to be toasting an 'independent press.' We are tools, and the vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are jumping-jacks. They pull the strings and we dance. Our time, our talents, our lives, our possibilities, all are the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes."
