Take this Quiz and see how much you actually know.

I am a Ba Hum Bug with only 3 correct...one of which was a lucky guess.  Imagine me singing the WRONG words.  Hubby says the term singing should never be used to describe the noise I make.  Argghh!

Come on....share your score...your honest one!!  §

2.5 for me  (I'll take a half as it was a correct guess...but not a whole as it was a guess)  Oh careful with your comments...we don't want to give the next person an easy ride!!

Nine right! But there were a few lucky guesses in the bunch.

I'm the person in the car next to yours who's belting out songs to the radio... and making you glad that it's winter and all the windows are rolled up!

3 correct in total, all of them were guesses => adjusted score: 1.5 :-[
Oddly enough, the 3 lyrics I got correct were to songs I had never heard before ^_^

"Seriously. Stop."
"Oh, yea?!? YOU seriously!! YOU stop!!"

I got 9. Who knew that in Frosty, the song says "silk"? I always heard it sung "black"... and I missed the "auld" question because I thought it was "old" (kinda feel stupid for that one...)

this was a fun link. thanks!

I only got four right. I think the sad part is that I used to know all the words to these songs when I was little!
A couple of them I actually sang in choir in highschool too.

The ones I got right were
Rudolph the red nosed reindeer
Up on the housetop
I saw mommy kissing santa clause (guessed)
It's beginning to look a lot like xmas (guessed..glistening is a christmasy word. lol)

4 - turn off the mic.

somethingshiny, I did the same thing with Auld, and I feel about the same way about it.

Seriously though, some of those songs were really random.  But I was all over Rudolph and Frosty!

I got nine right, but one of the questions I missed (Twelve Days of Christmas), I switched it from the right answer to the wrong answer. Darn! Oh well, one of the lyrics I got right was a complete guess. I also lucked out on the first question because I only found out yesterday that Frosty wore a silk hat. Previously I thought the lyric was "top" hat.

I tell him I just go w/my own; he no longer stops and asks me since I am always making em up. Me thinks it drives him "nuts" but oh well. hehee

Ugh, I got them all right and I don't even like holiday music!! That's what you get for doing several holiday seasons in retail...

I did have to guess on "Rock of Ages," though.

I missed "auld" and "old" too! Everyone sings it "old," and my reasoning failed by thinking it probably is "old" because "auld" is sung right after it.

I also missed the 12 Days of Christmas.... and I had JUST heard that! They should have asked about #5

Heh.  Skippy, my husband and I do that on purpose...Intentional Lyric Mangling is our favorite passtime in the car.  You get 1 point for making the other person laugh.  2 points for a groan.  You should hear what we do to the old Christmas Standards.

I think the Lord very disappointed in us.

How disappointing, I got 7...they should have chosen some more traditional ones that we all know and sing...because I would have def gotten more. Some of those I swear I have hardly ever heard!!!

I sing Christmas songs all year long which Greg thinks is hilarious...I don't know why but sometimes I just break out into Silver Bells or something. I also typically replace names in the songs with Portia or something and make up my own version.
