Has anyone seen anything like this?  Unfortunately this one is out of stock at the moment and my wedding is in 9 days!!  If anyone knows a site where i could find something like it, it would be much appreciated!  Thanks!

Oooooh, I love that!!! That's awful that's it's out of stock.  I'm hunting to see what else I can find for you.  Where did you find that one originally?

it's from weddingstar.com (or weddingstar.ca for the Canadian site)

I've been looking around but can't find anything   Hopefully someone has seen (or will see) something like it!

That is super cute. I tried looking for you but realized:

1) this is way out of my league

2) There are some UGLY TACKY cake toppers out there...

(this one is called "Lighted Swans and Crystals." seriously.

I think we need an "ugly cake topper" thread to rival the ugly christmas ornament one...

One more thought - I think the reason yours looks so great is that it is not to "cake-topper-y" - I think you could find something similar searching for dove porecelain figureines or something...

One I found that is close, but not quite:

those are nice too!  I was hoping for something "interlocking", but i've had no luck searching google.  i think i've tried every search combination of
birds/dove/cake topper/centerpiece/porcelain/ceramic/interlocking
that you can do!  in the meantime I went with this (although ours is a different version - there's no top hat and the bride is holding a bouquet, AND it doesn't say first xmas)...

I'm still holding out hope for my beautiful interlocking love birds tho

I'm usually not a fan of cake toppers (has anyone seen the overwhelming number of cheesy cake toppers out there?!), but I really do love those doves. It's very sweet without being too much. I really, really like it. I found something somewhat similar, but I love the one you found more. I like that yours wasn't on a stand.

*lurker* I found these on ebay---I searched for "porcelain doves" and I think this was on the 2nd or 3rd page. Good luck!

I also really like the set posted by NewEnglandLady.

Oh, I love the cake topper. It is enough for me to consider having one! I'm on the hunt. I do like the one NewEnglandLady posted, but not as much.

You might like Herend. These come in various sizes and colors. I have a variety of them and they are gorgeous. Here are some lovebirds:

By the way I like the marshmallows too. I purchased a couple of ornaments like that last year. The one I really wanted was broken, but it featured an outhouse and a marshamallow dude.

Another pair of doves not sure of their size though...

Selkie - you had a nautical theme? How cool. What did you use as a topper? Sorry I wasn't around to guide you! LOL!

happilyeverafter - What does your cake look like? If you are in a bind you might want to consider using fresh flowers as a topper. They could be really beautiful and should be readily available.

I planned my wedding on very short notice. [I got the dress but we didn't get our act together on the ceremony date and logistics until the month before! We had both been married before.]

We did a simple cake [done by the pastry chef of an excellent restaurant in the area] and she decorated it with fresh roses. Here is a pic before the setup was complete [I had to go get dressed so I couldn't wait! Ignore the sparseness around it!]. Our colors were red [my dress was the same color as the roses], white [all the other flowers were white], black [bridesmaid dresses - DD and nieces] and gold [it was around this time of year].

Perhaps you could do a beautiful, teeny bouquet in your colors to top yours off.

That doves cake topper is so sweet.  It's so simple, but it expresses so much emotions.

Thanks everyone for your help looking - I adore the other doves/lovebirds and especially the sea horses!  So cute!  Unfortunately it is too late for me to order anything online since i'm in Canada and it takes at least two weeks usually to get anything, and i'm only 6 days away from the big day, YIKES!  Even rush orders can (and do) get stuck at the border.  I am going to see if any of the brands are available around where I live and maybe i'll get lucky and find a retail outlet that carries them.  Otherwise I have the backup smores couple haha.

DiamanteBlu, we actually aren't having a wedding cake the day of - we are having our "wedding dessert" (which we haven't decided on yet) at the rehearsal dinner instead.  Then at our wedding we have a selection of two desserts for guests to order (the reception is at a restaurant).  I was going to order our "wedding dessert" today from a bakery, not sure what it'll be, but it has to be solid enough to set a cake topper on top!

PS  I really love the Herend line!  I'm going to look for that one first, cross fingers that they're in Canada!

CUTE cake topper! Bummer it's sold out. That website is pretty neat. They have a lot of cool ideas. I do have to hijack for a minute to comment on one thing though.

This is from weddingstar.com. I'm all for supporting our troops, but realistically, who would choose cammo for their colors/theme?

Actually, camo is a not-uncommon choice for tuxes among hunters in this area (central PA). The owner of a local wedding store had camo vests, a camo garter, and a camo nightie to please her hunter hubby. (And yes, it scares me a little)

Happilyeverafter--hope you find a topper you like! The marshmallows are really cute if you can't find any birds.

Okay, I can maybe see slipping in a cammo or bright orange garter, but as your theme is just too darn scary. And I'm part of a big hunting family from rural NH!

I have NEVER EVER seen a cake topper I've liked short of fresh flowers or a gumpaste bow. Until now. Those doves are just lovely. I pre-ordered a pair. And I feel bad, cause I wish you could have them HEA. I'm sorry we couldn't find them for you.
