I didn't see this as a thread, but if I'm double posting, let me know.

Since it is a somewhat (or a lot-what, what have you) hectic time of year, I think we all sometimes forget that Thanksgiving has come to be about being thankful for what we have, and what we sometimes take for granted.

I thought it'd be nice to post what we are thankful for, from the little stuff to the big stuff.

I'm thankful for:

*My husband, it's our first Thanksgiving as Mr. and Mrs.

*Gum being readily available at just about every store that sells food

*Cell phones; my family is never farther away than a short digging around in my purse to find my phone.  Gotta love that!!

*Hoodies.  It's exciting to finally be feeling the cool air again

*Pens that write really smooth and NEVER go through gaps where they won't write in one particular spot on the page (I really like Opti-Flow).

*Cookie dough!!

*Our furbabies!!

*Birthdays

*Surprises

*Text messages and cards and letters from my husband.  Makes me gush every time (I got one of these yesterday, on our 10 months married anniversary)

*Friends who are there for you without ceasing, praying for you and being silly with you.  It's great stuff!

*My rights and freedoms that come with being a citizen of this country, and those who helped and help us keep them.

*Our new steam cleaner; it rocks

*Water.  Go through a severe drought and you'll be loving you some water, too!!

*Clorox disinfecting wipes.  Enough said!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!!  ENJOY YOUR TIME WITH THOSE YOU LOVE!!

Let's see here...

My family and friends and FI of course
My dog and cat
Having food on my table every night
My health
And being alive....I recently lost an amazing person in my life and it really hits home how fragile life really is and how it can be gone in an instant. So I'm thankful to be alive.

ETA: And I'm thankful for finding this place and *hopefully* getting to know all you ladies

Okay, let's see. . .

My husband since he wears his heart on his sleeve and loves me unconditionally.

The wonderful people of Pricescope and Andrey!  I love that we all bring something to this forum.

My health and the health of my family.

My wonderful parents who have the biggest hearts ever and made me who I am!

Charities and good people out there who work together to make the less fortunate have a thanksgiving too!!

My friends who make me laugh and love me for who I am.

My neighbors, I truly have a wonderful community where I live.  I could easily walk across the street and borrow an egg and not feel I am inconviencing them and vise versa.

Having a roof over my head, food and transportation.

Eyeliner, I never leave home without it.  I go make up less all the time but eyeliner makes me happy. hehe

Target, Trader Joes and Costco!  I love shopping there regularly.

Ang31, I love your post!

I'm thankful I have the opportunity to be posting here about what I am thankful for!

I'm thankful for technology and all the creature comforts and conveniences it has provided.

Basic needs (food, shelter, water, etc.), and social needs (spouse, family, friends.)

Wow, everything else is a total bonus and I'm thankful for everything I have, and even that I'm able to b*tch about things when they don't go my way!

Life itself...wherever I am in my beliefs and figuring out the meaning of it all, it eventually boils down to the fact that I am thankful every day that I HAVE this day to appreciate or not.

Happy Thanksgiving again, friends!
