my guess would be at around 2mm but you can easily call any danhov dealer and they will tell you..

Thanks for your help. I am really confused about what to do. My stone is a 1.7 ct RB and I want it in a halo. I am trying to figure out (1) if i should use a 2mm or a 1.8-1.9 mm shank and (2) whether i should use 1 pointer or 2 pointer melee diamonds. I want the shank to be delicate so that the stone looks big but not too delicate that it looks disproportionate compared to the 1.7 ct and the halo. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?? I am leaning towards a 2mm shank with 2 pointer melee. Also, if anyone has pictures which show the difference between the 1.8 mm and the 2mm shank that woudl be great. Thanks!!!!

I'm not sure if you've made any decisions on this, but I now am the lucky owner of a Danhov Meno so I can answer your question! I have a different setting, the ME 35, but was told they're the same thickness -- and the shank and halo are just under 2mm. They are incredibly, incredibly delicate looking -- it looks as dainty on my finger as did the Ritani Endless Love collection. My stone is also around that carat weight (1.72) but smaller because it is an asscher instead of a round, but it's a great shank thickness for my size stone, I think! My center stone looks HUGE inside the dainty little halo. The tcw of mine is 2.20. Hope this is helpful!
