I am newbie when it comes to selecting stones. I have learned a great deal reading this forum. It has made the whole process of shopping for an engagement ring a lot less stressful.

This particular diamond is in my price range and I like its color and clarity. What do you think about this stone grade/pricing? I plan on setting it in the Legato Shared Prong setting from WF as well. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Gorgeous diamond, you can't go wrong with an ACA!!!  You probably know you could drop your colour and clarity a little if you wished and still have a very white and clean diamond, but this is a personal preference!  F VS is a lovely choice!!

Great job!!

the cut is really wonderful! It must be a beautifully stunning stone althouth I'm not sure about the color and clarity grading by AGS.

Minirita, what aren't you sure of about the colour and clarity grading by AGS?  Just curious?

Thanks for your replies. I'm rather color sensitive so I thought I'd maximize in that dept. Hopefully, I am making the right decision.

It sounds like a good plan and that is one stunning diamond!  That is always the best 'recipe' to prioritise the 'C's so you can match your diamond to your preferences and it seems you have successfully done this!

I've had two ACA diamonds from whiteflash and I have been extremely happy with both.  Well done on a great choice

-Murray N. Rothbard, in The Anatomy of the State

John Swinton [1829-1901] Chief Editorial Writer of the New York Times (Considered "the Dean of his Profession" by his peers), when asked to toast an 'Independent Press' in a gathering at the National Press Club, circa 1880

"There is no such thing in America as an independent press unless it is in the country towns. You know it, and I know it. There is not one of you who dare express an honest opinion. If you express it you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid... for keeping my honest opinions out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for doing similar things....

The business of the New York journalist is to distort the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of Mammon, and sell his country and race for his daily bread, or for what is about the same thing, his salary. You know this, and I know it and what foolery to be toasting an 'independent press.' We are tools, and the vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are jumping-jacks. They pull the strings and we dance. Our time, our talents, our lives, our possibilities, all are the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes."
