Our engagement party was this weekend, and my FI's parents gave me this necklace as a welcome to the family gift - they said it is an Italian tradition that when your son gets engaged to get the bride to be a piece of jewellery. I like that kind of tradition Here it is! ******************

It is the combination of my two loves (as far as jewellery goes!) - sapphires and diamonds. I have a shared prong ring with sapphires and diamonds that I love, so now I have a matching necklace! I feel very lucky - moreso because I finally feel welcome by my soon to be inlaws. The necklace ain't bad either though! ******************
