OH MY GOODNESS, my upgrade is finally here and I'm shaking! The center stone is a 2.52 ct Fancy Light Yellow [GIA] set in a halo. There are .32 cts F VS1 diamonds in the halo and on the shoulders as well as 2 bullets that total .53 ctw, also F VS1. I wasn't looking for a yellow stone but when my hubby and I saw this one at our local jewelers we knew that this was it! The cut is simply amazing on this stone. I wish you could see it in person as the pictures just don't even begin to show it the way it really looks. It's like you could fall into it and never stop. Also in person it is a much richer yellow color than shows in these pictures. I didn't have a lot of sunlight left to take pictures. Hopefully I'll get better ones tomorrow. So here it is.....my ball of sunlight............

Love it!  I and love the way you titled your post as well.  Is that a radiant cut corner?  It is very stunning and I love the halo setting.  Congrats on that joyful stone!

Thank you so much, everyone!!! I'm so excited I'm literally bouncing off the walls, LOL. Definitely more pics tomorrow.

Surfgirl, the sapphire is a RHR. I just had it on that finger to get the pictures. Don't worry, it won't get lonely!

Dee, this baby isn't coming off my finger for a long while. It will surely be there in December! I originally thought of you when I first saw this ring.......then that thought went right out of my head, sorry!

ETA: Beacon,  the GIA report lists it as a round-cornered rectangular modified brilliant. My jeweler calls it a radiant/cushion. I think it is a radiant.
