I posted last week that we were going to our favorite jeweler to look at some special diamonds (up to 30 cts) they had in store for a show this past weekend. Those diamonds were amazingly huge and beautiful. They didn't allow pics, sorry... Anyway we ended up looking at settings since he said he will be proposing before the end of 2007 (no more than 8 weeks left, YAY!!!). I found the most amazing setting! I've known I wanted a halo for a while, but always thought I'd want an oval or cushion center. Well after looking a few stones, I was converted to a RB lover! The spakle on some of those was simply breathtaking! So long story short, we picked a setting- a beautiful round halo setting with great finger coverage and tons of sparkle and pave on the band. And it was within budget! I forget the ctw in the setting... And he said he would pick the center so that something would be a surprise. I'm so elated...had to share! Oh, and I tried it on with 2 pave eternity bands on either side...OMG, I was in heaven! It was so beautiful I almost started to tear up! Crazy, I know... Only 1 problem...since finding it on Friday evening, I can think of NOTHING else but that ring...Hope it's sooner than 8 weeks, but I have waited 7 years so I know a few weeks won't kill me. Ness

I know how far 8 weeks can seem when you know something exciting is going to happen. I was the same before going to NY. Just keep yourself occupied, keep manicured and hopefully it will be on your finger sooner than the end of the year
