i recently bought and si2 egl-usa and it was clearly an I2 obv. it was an online purchase. anyways this is another online purchase and i wanted some opinion. is the only option i have to just simply ask them if its eye clean?

No, you have the option to get it graded by your own expert prior to committing to the deal. If the dealer won’t agree to let you have you show it to your own grader and return it for a 100% refund if you’re not happy with the results, walk away. I agree with the others, and to answer your original question....no, I would not trust an EGL SI2 to be eye clean.

I would not trust any si2 too be eyeclean until it is seen by a trusted expert whose definition of eyeclean I know. The vendor should provide this service and have a 100% return policy if it isnt or shop with someone who does. The other option is of course an appraiser but the vendor should be the first filter. ........... Karl has joined the diamond trade and is now posting as Karl_K |
