LIW no more!

Thank you to all the lovely ladies who sent luck my way!  As some of you know my BF and I jetted off to New York City last week.  Thursday was a wash due to traveling.  We came into NYC late Thursday evening, mainly due to poor weather conditions.  Our plane circled laguardia airport for two hours when we finally landed and hailed a taxi we learned the main road was closed due to flash floods... UGH....  and I am a poor traveler motion sickness kills me!  Friday was much more promising.  He was off to a medical conference and I to the MET.  That evening we went to the broadway musical "Wicked".  One word... phenomenal.  Saturday we headed out to see the sights.  Rockefeller center, St. Patricks cathedral, Central Park, Empire State building, Grand central station.. As we were milling around in the Chrysler building he started telling me all the reasons he loved me, dropped to one knee and asked me to be his wife.I almost started crying... I teared up pretty good (I was crying like a baby the rest of the night, dinner was a little embarassing because at that point I was bawling).  He proposed by giving me a ring he purchased from a local jeweler Judith Arnell, ring designed by Daniel K.  He actually picked up the ring while we were in NYC (sneaky).  It's a beautiful setting the designer named "Rosebud". I would love to post hand pics of the ring but that is another story,  I may have left my camera on the airplane or in the shuttle when we came home.  I only realized I was missing my camera when I went looking for it to download all my pictures of the trip and ring and couldn't find it.  I called the airport but the lost and found was closed already so they suggested I send an email.  My FI (I love being able to say that!!!) is checking with the airline.  Although I don't have pics to share I do have some specs..

Thanks again to all those who sent "proposal luck" my way.  Will post pics of ring as soon as lost luggage issue is resolved... HHMMM... maybe since the luck dust went so well with the FI could you send some more this way for lost luggage?
