I found a great Medusa costume online for Halloween, but hate the headpiece that comes with it (rubbery snakes...kinda creepy). I saw another costume that come with a great looking gold/bronze headpiece with a jewel in the center (which isn't sold separately). I was hoping to find something more along those lines, but my internet search skills seem to be falling short. If anyone with amazing search skills has the time... Thanks!!!

Hmmm...I would suggest just buying a wig and using spray-on hair color (Halloween stores will have it or even drugstores) and then rigging sections up with pipe cleaners to create "snakes" within the wig. You can embellish further with findings (the jewel, etc.) from a hobby store like Michael's or Hobby Lobby using hot glue.
