Since there is one 2 blocks from my house I decided too stop in.
Now the fun begins...
No I didnt even look at diamonds the largest in the store was a .25 badly cut, just gemstones, but she kept on trying too sell me a gold ring with a diamond for $100?!?!?!?
I didnt say much lol!
I did see a nice amethyst pendant that was one of 2 well cut gemstones in the store.
7mm with a little red flash but not even close too being as nice as these:

14k yellow gold setting, $60 tops.
Price: $299

Sure does remind me of how nice I have it with Jon and Gary and Wink an email away and Drew about 3 miles away to set them!

What a great site. I agree those amethysts are STUNNING. I found a lovely ruby that would be GORGEOUS if it was concave cut..

Beautiful amythests, Storm!  Gary's site is wonderful, Gypsy recommended some amythests from there to me on a thread I have over on the colored stones subforum.  (I'm thinking of getting my future niece who is due Feb. 4th, some loose stones and take her to have them set when she's 15-16).
