The thing that gets me the most is he kept telling me he just didn't have the money right now, or anytime soon, for a ring, and since I kept talking about it he pushed it farther away each time. Well, truth is he HAD the ring since JANUARY! He's just been psyching me out! He said that he wished he had a video cam so he could tape me when i had my freak outs to see how ridiculous I was being, since he knew all along that he was gonna propose soon. Saturday afternoon we went to his mom's b-day party, but he kept urging me to leave as soon as it started getting dark. He promised me we could go walk on the beach that night, so I was all for it. Well, to make a long story short since I'm at work right now, he proposed on the beach, it was so sweet, and I ALMOST cried - my eyes teared up. I've been so giddy that past few days. I still can't believe this is really happening to me!! The ring is 14k white gold 1 ct. marquise cut solitaire and absolutely beautiful. I will get pics up as soon as I take some.

I am in a similar situation that you were - my BF keeps telling me has no money right now (which he doesnt, really) since we are both finishing our last year of pharmacy school. He knows what ring I want and the price, etc and won't tell me when the engagement will happen and keeps pushing back the possible date. GRRRR so frustrating - I hope its all a front and that it will happen during my visit with him in PGH next week!!!!
