After a month of being ringless, my ring is finished! I am so excited. It is just gorgeous. Pics to follow. Stats:
1.34 G VVS2 H & A from Jonathan at GOG (Thank you for convincing us to go with the G, we love it!!)
Ring: Vatche Royal Crown with rebuilt prongs (to fit the new stone and to make them stronger) by an excellent ring designer here in Chicago.

And now on to the pics!! These are pretty good, but believe me it looks ten times better in person.

Jax - What an incredible ring - that just looks fantastic. However did you get those photos ? - they look just incredible...

Just out of interest - did you have the Royal Crown setting with a smaller stone before and then reset with the new one ?

What a sparkle !! WOW !!

PQ - I think Johnathan meant 19, not 29... or was it 9 ?

FC.

Thank you! My fiance took the pics. He is good with the digital, I am not so good .

I had a 1.04 in my Royal Crown setting and now it is set with the 1.34. We had the designer who made our wedding bands fix the prongs for us. She had to take apart the entire head and expand it to fit the 1.34. Also she had to make the prongs stronger as they were weak from being unset and set a few times. She did a fantastic job and it only took her a week! If we had sent it to Vatche it might have taken 3 weeks! I wish I had more pics of her work, she does amazing stuff and for a reasonable fee. She charged us only $200 to do all that work plus she engraved the inside of the band for us. We were very pleased. I will attach some pics of the wedding bands she did for us.

It is very sparkly. I have gotten numerous comments on it already! The first day we went to all these jewelry stores (love the lighting) and one of the salesgirls in Rogers and Hollands fell all over herself when she saw my ring. She even asked what color and clarity it was! She loved the setting and was even dragging other people over to see it. Haha! Fun! Yesterday some of my friends saw it and kept commenting how huge and sparkly it was. I just told them my fiance did a good job

We are truely pleased with it. It was worth the month long wait to have it completed. Everything is perfect about it. Which I bet pleases Jonathan as it has been a process for the last 5 months! Thank you Jonathan!
