Hello everyone!! I have been searching for pics of plain knife-edge e-ring bands with pave knife-edge wedding bands, there was a great thread started by blingergrrrl http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=57292, but I can't seem to reply to it. I was just wondering if anyone had anymore pics of these 2 types of bands next to each other. I already have a plain knife-edge "pinched shank" e-ring with a round brilliant diamond and I really love the pave knife-edge WB look, maybe even more that the traditional eternity band. Much appreciated, newbie999 Here are some pics http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/files/DSC01764i.JPG http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/download.asp?fileID=82082&topicID=63600&forumID=3&catID=1 |

Hi, although not a picture of the two together, here is another option from Firenze Jewelers, that is significantly less than WF: http://www.firenzejewels.com/diamonds/info/12-Wedding-Bands-97-1912-000-Antique-style-18k-white-gold-knife-edge-diamond-wedding-band-ring-000-.html . Connie |

GOOOD LUCK... Please post your ering for me.... Hi woobug02!! I didn't want you to go to any trouble!! As for the ct wt....what total weight are we talking for a relatively thin band? I'm not sure what width to go for in terms of any knife-edge (pave or plain) as my e-ring band is about 2.5-3.5mm (rough eye-ball, will measure tonight) in width at it's widest which is on the palmar side and it's flat there. The knife-edge develops about half way up the sides and it narrows down to about 1.25mm at the base of the setting, does that make sense?? So what width would be ideal for any wedding band, let alone a knife-edge? And would it be appropriate to have it knife-edge all the way around or to have it match the e-ring?? So many questions!!! A couple of pics can be found using the links at the bottom of my original post, and here are the links to 2 other threads that have pics as well:- http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=63600 http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=67314

Thanks ottawaexpat1!!! That may be perfect!! I'll have to look for one exactly like that in Sydney to try it on, right now I have no idea if it would even work with my e-ring. However, that ring you suggested is beautiful, I love how the pave doesn't go all the way around the band, as I was worried that pave on the palmar side would be uncomfortable. This is one is a lot less than WF, do you know why it is more than half price of the WF one? Surely the clarity of the diamonds doesn't warrant the discrepency.
