Hey everyone.

Im awaiting my call with white flash tomorrow to pick out my diamond so now its on to the setting.

After the diamond I would like to keep my budget at 2000 and below on a setting. The settings that I looked at though are above my price range. Here are the few that I know she likes.

High end: Micheal B

Middle: Tacori

I know these are out of my price range but what she wants is a setting that is simple but covered by diamonds on 3 sides as these are. They do not necessarily have to go all around the band as these are but that would be nicer. Im looking for a platinum setting and something that holds the diamond somewhat high.

If anyone know of any generic versions of these are something by another designer that is closer to my budget please let me know. Something from whiteflash that im missing would be great as well.

Thanks again!

Engagement Rings Direct 3-side + prong pave

Whiteflash 3-side pave

ERD 3-side pave, tapered

ERD 3-side pave with milgraine

ETA: oh boy... had a typo... had to change migraine to milgraine

Wow thanks.

Didnt see those at all.

I think you got real close to what im looking for.

The first one that you showed
here is almost perfect except for the fact that it only can hold a 1.50 ct stone. My stone is going to be between 1.69 - 1.77.

The 3rd one seen
here is a nice design so I may send them an email to give me more pictures.

The other 2 are too bulky. She only has a size 4.75 finger size. So Im looking fairly thin.

If you guys could post more it would be appreciated!

Both Whiteflash and ERD do custom work... so maybe some "tweaks" could be made to something to get just what you want.

Hi Frank,

Great job on your stone size!  I've found awesome tacori settings on overstock.com..totally reasonable in range..but i would rec'd you talk to the overstock cservice if the setting you're looking for can hold that size of stone. These tacori settings are discontinued..hence on overstock..

Overstock does carry Tacori. But you should know that buying a tacori from an authorized dealer means that the setting is made to order for your specific stone dimension and set by Tacori. The overstock settings will have to be set by a jewler local to you, or by Whiteflash (there will be a setting fee) and it won't be customized for your stone, so make sure the head is made to fit a stoneyour size before you order, if you order. Of the two choices (local shop or WF for setting) I would DEFINITELY pick Whiteflash.

Kirk Kira has settings similar to the Tacori. And Beverly K will have something like that too, let me see if I can hunt down a picture.

Don't know if this is close enough to what you want, but Beverly K is reasonable and has nice quality.

Thanks again for your replies.

I found this one which I might go with;

tacori

It seems to be like the first one I saw but only a half circle of diamonds and is much cheaper.

Think she'll be happy?

Thanks!

I would be, IF I liked the fuill eternity version. The full eternity on those milgrained antique peices bothers my skin anyway and if it means that I get the look I want, within budget... I would be pretty pleased. If your sure she likes the full eternity version... I say go for it.
