Hi All,
I recently got engaged and received my first ''real'' piece of jewellery. I love diamonds and can''t wait to get my diamond eternity wedding band in 6 months time!

Fiance got me the Vatche(sp?) crossover design in 18ct yellow & white gold. I''m an old fashioned girl and yellow just suits me better! I think my partner did so well getting me such a lovely ring it was his first time buying diamonds too!

Pictures by him, he''s a bit of a photographer which is nice!
I have the GIA cert and he wants to upgrade the size a bit later on would this stone be suitable do you think?

Stats according to GIA cert:

0.70ct
E colour
Excellent Cut
Excellent Polish
Very Good Symmetry
Shoulder diamonds:

That is very pretty!!! He did a good job!

You didnt mention what the clarity of your diamond was...other than that, I think that diamond is more than suitable!!!

msmckay, that ring is very pretty! Looks HUGE is RIGHT! What size is your finger? I would have guessed the stone was much bigger than you stated! That setting is stunning!!!! He is a wonderful job! Congrats!

Using the alphabetical sizing system I''m a J which is pretty small - I have teeny hands. So I think people think it''s bigger - one friend asked if it was over 1ct!
