MIAdolphins Rough Rock Total Posts: 5 Last Post: 8/9/2007 Member Since: 8/9/2007	After searching this site thoroughly...I decided to purchase the engagement ring for my girlfriend from Pearlman's Jewelers in Battle Creek, Michigan. This was because I had read on here that he was one of the nicest, most honest people in the business, and also because he specialized in designer settings. I can tell you that Bill definitely was everything people claim him to be and more. My girlfriend has always had a thing for Scott Kay rings and platinum (Scott Kay is known for platinum apparently)...so i picked the popular crown setting by Scott Kay. After talking to Bill on the phone about center stone options, he informed me that he had an Eight Star stone in the weight range I was looking in (1.03ct). Of course I thought that it would be out my budget but, Bill cut the total price of the ring to almost 50% of its value. The price I paid was what the center stone itself is valued at. Unbelievable...I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THIS MAN STAYS IN BUSINESS. I have found the jeweler I will use for the rest of my life!!! Here are a few pictures...i'm still trying to master the art of taking pictures of diamonds. (rather tricky)
