What is the best company you've found for BM dresses if you have a variety of sizes/ages/haircolors?  I have 4 BM, my mom 50-ish, brunette; best friend-tall, skinny, young, brunette; SIL, average, dark brunette; and the oddball - TALL, big, redhead, 30ish.  Espresso is my color.  Or chocolate, whatever, brown.  :)  I'm liking Ann Tayor celebrations, but they only go to size 18, I'm not sure if that's big enough for my 4th girl.

Have you had luck with any specific company?  I'm not opposed to them having different styles of dresses, but my dress is Ivory and lace... doesn't go well with very contemporary BM dresses.

My ladies are all different shapes and sizes and ages and all found happiness with Alfred Angelo. Three of them chose separates, the others are in dresses. They should be in next week, so at this point they have only tried on samples, but were all excited about it. We went to the Alfred Angelo company stores, which carry multiple sample sizes, so everybody has tried on the dress they ordered!

Ann Taylor goes up to 18 BUT uses bridal sizing, so the measurements are really the same or smaller than Jcrew's largest size (16) and more like a street size 14-16. I was so happy when I figured out one of my bridesmaids could wear a Jcrew 16 and I didn't have to deal with custom orders! Funny, she's also a redhead. However, jcrew is not for super-busty girls! If its more in the hips than there is hope, and jcrew is good about having a dress-specific size chart for each style.

I have also heard good things about the alfred angelo separates, but I was really hoping to stay away from synthetic fabric.

If its in the budget, there are companys that will make silk dresses to order and you could let each person pick their own style. Aria dress is one, and siri is another.

I used Jordan for my BM dresses because I also had several different sizes and ages.  They have a nice variety of styles to choose from.

My 5'4" sporty, small busted and strong shouldered sister and my 5'7" girly girl, super thin and average busted BFF found two Alfed Angelo dresses they adore (my sister a two-piece and my BFF a one-piece). The fabric looks and feels nice and the prices are pretty good, too.
