We think we're having our reception in Waterloo, IA but are currently living in Houston. That means most of our planning will be remote, aside from occasional help from a family member. Our reception location couldn't recommend us any DJs because he said most brides know someone who knows someone... Does anyone on PS know anyone in the area? We would appreciate it SO much!

I can't help you out at all personally, but you might want to try going to "theknot.com" to check out the local Iowa message boards under the "talk" tab. Looks like for Iowa, there are local boards for Des Moines and the Quad Cities. There should be women on those boards who are familiar wtih DJs in Iowa and who could give you some advice. Good luck!
