You will be best of if you stick with diamonds with lab reports from GIA with a Sarin report or AGS lab.

When you have ALL the info then you can begin to compare apples to apples.

Hope this helps you.

I'm practically your neighbor in Huntington on Long Island.

Have you looked around much at the different cut qualities available in diamonds? There's a lot of difference in the visual beauty between stones depending on their cut, which I was not aware of when I started my search earlier this year. There is a great store here on the Island where the owner takes you through a detailed tutorial about all the qualities of a diamond and then shows you all the different stones for you to compare. He also has a web site which gives you a great education with tons of images, if you wanted to check it out before deciding to visit..www.goodoldgold.com. I can highly recommend Jonathan's honesty, prices and level of service. Just a suggestion from a fellow LIer who's "been there".

DL

PS I don't have any knowledge about JB International but did want to suggest a local alternative who many people have been very pleased with.

Did the diamond report have a Sarin report with it? You have much to learn about cut before you can decide if this diamond is the best value for your needs.

Have you checked the search page of pricescope? It can give a range of diamonds similar to the one you are looking at.

See some branded ideal cut diamonds to see if you like the look. The more diamonds you see the more confident you wil be when you find the right one.
