Pretty, but I used to be more enamored of those multi colored things when I was young. Now I am not so crazy about them.

True, but I love color too, just not all together since I think it can be limiting...

Like the other one better.  The other was refreshing, new and  unique in it's design element.  This one says, meh.  And after a few years of wearing it, you'll find it to be meh too.

May I see the other one? Though no matter what I do not find this one befitting a mature woman. It also screams maul store to me.

I'm not wild about that YG bracelet...you have such pretty things, that this seems too ordinary.  JMHO...

ETA...I definitely like the WG bracelet better, Harriet!

Hmm ... Bulgari has a yellow gold bracelet with cabochon sapphires dangling from it. Now, that's what I really want.

do you have a picture of it?

I rather buy something I really like instead of something that doesn't make my heart beat.

Unfortunately, no. The problem with the Bulgari one is that, amazingly enough, the sapphires are not that great. Another company (for the life of me, I can't remember who) has a bracelet with dangling diamonds of different cuts.

Here's my thinking, buy what you really want.  Don't settle,  rather save up for that special piece.  The one that makes your heart sing.  You won't regret it.  You'll regret making purchases here and there that just make ya say WHY???  You know??

Sheep??  BAHHHHH BAHHHH.

I would save for something that makes your heart sing.

I need to learn a lesson from all of you; I need to buy things that only make my heart sing instead of "ooh it sparkles and it's on sale".  Then I wear it a few times, decide I don't really like it and (hopefully) sell it at a loss to buy something new.

So Harriet, if this bracelet doesn't really wow you; it's a lot of money for something that's just cool or cute.  I'm sure you'll find something else that will knock your socks off.

Harriet, seriously, you have been buying what seems like a lot lately. I am sure you can wait to have the bracelet you REALLY want. I used to do things like buy something I did not really want because it was there and I wanted to buy something, and what I really wanted was not available. I have spent, I mean wasted, a lot that way. And it annoys me no end when I think about all the times I spent a chunk of change and could have saved up and had something great. So why don't you really priortize what you want? If it is a quick fix and you are happy with something so so, fine. If not, think about what you can get if you really focus on it.

I really like the first bracelet you showed us, but if you aren't 100% sure about it, I say wait a little while.  My rule when I'm thinking about buying something is "When in doubt, don't."
