Which diamond would you choose? Also, James Allen prices seem more reasonable than Whiteflash? Thanks for the help! I like the second one best. Find out if polish and Sym are excellent. I couldn't find that on the cert.

3 and 4 are the same diamond it seems, which looks like a possibly great choice, so I would either pick this one, or the WF ACA if you want the pedigree of an ACA, also the ACA is a colour grade higher if that matters to you. In any case, check with the vendors that they are eyeclean and ask JA for an Idealscope image for their selections if you plump for that one!

Id get the first one. You might be wondering why the ASET image for the first one appears offcentre, thats because whoever took the pic didn't place the diamond completely horizontal. I think its a great stone that wouldve been sold long ago had the ASET pic been taken properly. Get them to retake the pic to confirm symmetry Also in terms of optical symmetry, the first one's better than the second one (just looks more even). Very tight angles as well, (both pav and crown angles with 0.3 degrees of variance, in TIC ranges) Definitely a winner in my books

It depends on what you want. If that's the best of the best, go for the ACA. If you just want a really nice diamond, that in real life could look just as nice to the untrained eye, the other two options are good ones. Miss Lorelei's right, 3 and 4 are the same. 3 is the largest, yet the least expensive. You might ask for an IS image on 3, so you can compare accurately with 2, if you decide against 1. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
