Cost of servicing an automatic 6000 series Tag

lisaC Ideal Rock Total Posts: 522 Last Post: 9/2/2008 Member Since: 6/2/2003	BBB quoted me $495 to have my clasp repaired- it doesn't snap close, service and movement- it hasn't been serviced ever and it's maybe 7 years old, and to have it polished like new- Does this seem reasonable or should I send it to Tag's service centre in New Jersey? Thanks for any advice

If you only need the clasp fixed then perhaps there's no need for all the other hoopla. They say one should service an automatic watch every 3-5 years but I'm of the mind that if it aint broke, dont mess with it.
