After 25 years I'm very excited to be getting my "upgrade" ring. I want the biggest bang for our budget, which is $20 - $25k. I have found a 3 carat original grossbard radiant cut K/SI1 which is breathtaking. The cut is excellent and the color looks very white unless you compare it directly to a G or an H. I have seen several other radiants in this size range with a better color grade, but this is by far the most beautiful.

I have spend hours on this site over the last few weeks and may have gotten myself more confused than anything.  I'm not concerned with having a perfect diamond - just one that's perfect for ME.  I think this is a beautiful stone, but am a crazy to go so low on the color scale?  I don't want to go smaller because my original engagement ring is 3 carats - although visibly included.

If I decide this is the stone for me, I hope to make the purchase next week.  Any advise would be appreciated.

Not sure about the color...especially since you've seen it.  But, check your value.  Something like this?

I don't know about K color...I would prefer something higher...but if you've seen it and love it, that's what matters most...
