Hi Everyone -- My fiance and I are getting are wedding bands with them. I'm considering a shared prong round diamond eternity band. Is the price difference between the standard and raphael setting worth it? To save money, we are considering having them make an eternity band using G-H, VS diamonds (Premium/Ideal cut) instead of F-G, VVS-VS (Premium/Ideal Cut) set in platinum. The total carat weight will be about .98. My engagment ring is 90 points, H/VS2. I saw what the F-G/VVS-VS looks like and was happy with it. Will there be a noticeable difference going to the G-H, VS? Thanks! Lisa |

Lisa some feel the difference in the two styles are worth it, other's don't. i'd probably save the $ and go with the regular setting.. you won't see a difference b/t the f-g, g-h and the VS will be fine for stone's that small.. |

Ditto that on both: I'll stay with the standard shared prong style and GH/VS.

I've seen the G/H in person and they are incredibly white. I wouldn't pay the extra for F/G since these stones seem to be on the very high side of their grades.

I have the Raphael eternity ring. I definitely notice the difference in the setting but if I didn't already have it, I probably wouldn't notice anything. Mine are only 5 pointers but I imagine if you had a much more substantial carat weight, the difference might really stand out.
