I have a pair of .40ctw diamond studs that my parents gave me when i graduated from university. As a result of 'shrinkage' i dont wear the studs anymore and am now wearing a pair of 1.5ctw cubic zirconias (Yuck) I was thinking about having my studs reset with a halo of 1pt diamonds as a cheaper way of getting a bigger visual Although ive found lots of photos of halo rings - - i havent found any pictures of halo earrings Can you please post some photos for me Thanks in advance Because i deserve it |

Have you thought about going with earring jackets? That way you could make the studs look bigger, but still have the option of wearing them by themselves when you want a more casual look. Check out Whiteflash's website. They have a pair of lovely looking diamond earring jackets that go around a stud to look like a halo.

Here they are on the ear. Getting earring jackets is a great idea since, they are a bit much with everday outfits.

Here are mine - DH got them for me a few years ago and neglected to tell me they were FAKE. LOL! He was so embarassed it tooks him 3 days to tell me the truth. Poor guy! I was looking on blue Nile and they have jackets (at least I think they are jackets). They look REALLY nice. ***2 one way tickets and a diamond ring, hell it don't matter what the rain might bring...*** |

I have been looking at these as well- I found some ideas here just imagine diamonds instead of sapphires in the one pair of earrings and make all of the lever backs into studs. I am in a similar boat as you- I have a stone that is between .35-.4 in a pendant and I want to find a match for it and have halo studs (or lever backs) done but it just hasn't happened for me yet.

Here's a pair with thinner halos which I like because it looks dainty and feminine.![]() "Sometimes it's OK to throw rocks at girls...as long as they sparkle! |
