Ohhh you are in luck! I was just checking out Pearlman's website last night and they have a ton of beautiful turquoise pieces right now! I have several great turquoise pieces but never have taken pics of them...maybe that's a project I need to tackle, hee hee. "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Shoot. I do but it's at home in the states. Huge chunk in a silver collar necklace from Athens.

It depends if you want a tribal, or Southwestern look which use silver combined with chunky and matrix filled pieces of greenish blue turquoise. Or do you want more diminutive unblemished robin's egg blue turquoise in gold? ![]() |

drool....2door, i had no idea turquoise could look like that!! i generally don't love the southwestern look, so i haven't given much thought to turqouise, but that is gorgeous!! where do you find something like that?

If you are purchasing an expensive turquoise piece of jewelry, like the one I placed a picture of, you should make sure that the the turquoise is not died or reconstituted (pieced together). |

I love turquoise too and I have a couple of complete sets. Some pieces do look like twostep's gorgeous jewel - made from clear blue Persian and Afghan turquoise - although mine don't have quite as many diamonds. I do wish I could take pictures of them for you but I'm packing tonight to leave on vacation, so it will have to wait a month

There are the ones I want: http://www.pearlmansjewelers.com/jewelry-designers/cathy-carmendy-jewelry/earrings/19C2/24/ And these... but these are much more pricey. http://www.pearlmansjewelers.com/jewelry-designers/cathy-carmendy-jewelry/earrings/17C2/30/ My grandmother has a large pear shaped turqouise and diamond pendant that I will be wearing for my wedding. As well as my own turqouise ring-- which I need to re-set. I love turqouise and white gold/ platinum. So elegant. I love adore these: http://www.pearlmansjewelers.com/prodshots/07C23.jpg

Date: 7/11/2007 12:11:00 PM Wow. I would say that isn't my style, but I think it's an awesome piece! The robin's egg blue turq is just gorgeous.

I love turquoise jewelry. I have a pair of earrings and ring that I bought as estate jewelry. They are probably from the 1950s. Then I found a new pendant that goes very well with the earrings. Twodoor2: The pin you posted is gorgeous.![]()

HI: As usual, AN, your pieces are stunning. I have always been a fan of turquoise, but rarely see fine pieces. Thanks for sharing. cheers--Sharon "People who possess great qualities, do not need to show off". |
