i finally got a wedding band. there's no going back now, it's already started its life on the road to a used, abused and scratched up ring.

we had a beautiful wedding just last week and here is my lovely band to match. every time i look at it, it makes me think lord of the rings for some reason

sometimes i think it's girly and other times i think it's not =)

I love wedding bands :)  They are the epitome of symbolism :)  An engraving won't hurt ;)

It's a beautiful ring! I love that it's two-toned and I don't think it is too girly. It's very distinctive!

When I saw the title, I expected to see pictures of a gold band with elven words carved all around the band.  LOL.  But on a more serious note, it's lovely.  I actually prefer rings with patterns like this and they are rather hard to find.

I love it, and I too, was worried it would be a real LOTR ring when I clicked on the thread.

So relieved it's not.

Beautiful wedding ring.  I know I'm dating myself again, but I remember owning a similar two-tone band back in the 70s.  I think they were more popular then.  Mine was just an inexpensive gold-filled version that I wore as a fun RHR.

Enjoy and thanks for sharing!

I think it looks great, definitely not too girly!  My DH has a wedding band with a braided design and he's a pretty "macho" guy, it looks great on him and is different than the typical plain bands which we both love.
