I know this has been a topic before, but I can't seem to think of anything original to give my bridesmaids and my FI is having the same problem! I like the idea of pearls, but 2 of my girls are married and have pearl necklaces and earings already. I wouldn't mind getting them a nice necklace to wear for the wedding, but I don't want it to be cheap looking. I've been looking at Tiffany's but I'm not sure their style goes with their dresses. My FI likes the idea of cufflinks, but my sister got married last year her DH gave my FI cufflinks as a gift so, he doesn't want to do the same thing. I didn't think this would be that difficult, but it's turing out to be that way.

What about tiff. silver key rings or luggage tags with their initials engraved on them? My FI is giving each groomsman a new fishing reel (we live in northern canada so it's appropriate--so something meaningful along those lines may spark some creative ideas for you) I know it's hard to choose. I struggled with this as well...i wanted to get the attendants something they would keep and use for a long time, and earrings just didn't cut it (most of my girls are sporty and therefore probably wouldn't get a lot of use from them) In the end I have decided to just get my girls a 'weekend-retreat pkg' for my DW--with treats, fun packaged mixes for cocktails, taning lotion, a starbucks gift card etc. and then i am going to get them each something special while on my honeymoon in europe (an excuse to shop!)

We're struggling with this a bit as well. Here's what I've come up with thus far: (it's an out of town wedding, so we're being generous, moreso with the girls because there "duties" have been more expensive.) Bridesmaids: small jewelry box custom length pearl bracelet to wear in the ceremony, necklace to match for MOH monogrammed hankies monogram pin for their bouquets travel goodies: purse mirror, travel candle silver frame for wedding photo of me and them (post-wedding) tote bag and will probably pay for hair day-of M hasn't had many ideas for his guys yet, but thus far he's come up with these ideas: --a valet from Red Envelope that lets you plug in your cell phone and ipod at the same place you leave your watch and wallet -- poker chip set -- grilling set -- steaks from Omaha or Kansas City or bbq from Texas (shipped) -- wallets (pretty standard and I yawned when he said it)

www.findgift.com has some options for bridal party gifts. I don't know what I'm doing either but thought of making a bag of sorts. I found some pashmina shawls and not sure what else. No thoughts yet on the BM's.
