Here, finally, are pictures of my Danburite ring!

The stats:

3.88 ct oval Danburite measuring around 12 x 8 set in a white gold Tiffany style 4 prong setting. Ring size 4. And it's only on my left hand for better pic taking. Not an e-ring!

I tried to capture how sometimes it glows bright white and other times it looks pink. Sometimes it's completely clear too.

Sit back and watch the show, folks!

The only way I could capture the pink was to feed it to my turquoise hippo. Bet you've never read THAT particular sentence before.

Another. Sorry about the ratty hands. But they get the job done. Most jobs actually. Walking I usually leave to my feet though. (OK, clearly it's bedtime! I'm getting goofy.)

That's gorgeous, it reminds me of something Elizabeth Taylor would have!!!  From the pics, you think that's a very white diamond.

Pretty and sparkly... I've really got to borrow SOMEONE's camera soon. LOL. Not going to see the parents/grandparent's any time soon though... so it's going to have to wait.

Love the simplicity indy!

Thanks everyone! I enjoy it so much. In fact, It's probably my favourite ring at this point. And isn't it great to have small things that make us happy each day? Or, ok, 3.88 ct things in this case.

Oooo, so glad you finally posted pics, I've been dying to see this ring!  It's really gorgeous and what a fun ring to have!  I love the setting you chose, it really showcases the stone itself, congrats!

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

Stone Hunter: I bought my danburite from Rick Martin of artcutgems.com He provided exemplary customer service and, as you can see, an exemplary stone! Highly recommended. I think you can reach him by e-mail at information at artcutgems.com and he'll send you photos of the stones he has available.

I believe ajsgems.com also sells danburites.
