Do any of you working women wear a right handed eternity ring?  I was wondering if it got in the way or hurt when you shook hands?  Thanks!!

Green eggs, my eternity band is uncomfortable when I shake hands. If I'm going to be in a situation where I know there will be a lot of hand shaking I make a point to wear it on my left hand. I think it would depend on the style of the ring (e.g., prong set, channel set) and the size of the diamonds though. If I recall correctly you're considering prong set ovals of a fairly large size, right?

Yes, it's uncomfortable. I had to have it though! I wear mine on my pinky so I have to be careful not to hit it on hard surfaces when I'm talking with my hands..

Thanks so much for your input!  The ring I am looking at is ovals approx .75 each.

HI:

My right hand eternity has asschers and I find the prongs take getting used to--and I am still in the process!  I have been wearing it daily in the hope that I can desensitize myself to it--but it is still "pokey".  Dh was holding my hand the other day and I had to ask him to lighten his grip! Still I love it!

cheers--Sharon
