Mine's low enough that it's not really an issue.

Make sure they aren't skin tight and you'll be ok. Sometimes I spin my ring around so the rock is towards my palm, which tends to have a little more give anyway. If you have prongs, that's the most annoying part... I walked around with bits of glove lining stuck in my prongs for most of the winter.

My setting isn't even that high, but I had to turn my stone to the inside of my palm when wearing my gloves this winter. It was a little annoying, but well worth it!

LOL...leave it to a Southern Californian to read the title and think "Gloves? Why is that such an issue?  Does she mean golf gloves?"

Sorry girls, but it isn't too much of an issue with me...and my rock is small enough where it wouldn't be a problem anyway (I do wear golf gloves over it).

LOL! Another Southern Californian here thinking of the long, fancy, white kind.

Cold wintered midwesterner here checking in LOL! I used to turn my ring around so that the stone was on the palm side but then I started thinking that if I fell and tried to catch myself the natural inclination of putting my hand down to break the fall would likely smack up my stone. Then I tried to wear my gloves stone side up but it's difficult to get the glove on over it comfortabley and I'm afraid the lining of the gloves will catch on the prongs and loosen my stone. There ain't no winning with this one; I think I should just move somewhere warm!

I wear gloves and my setting is a little high. Didn't cause any problems, maybe it would if the gloves were tighter.

My Ritani setting (same as Neatfreak's) is low enough that it doesn't seem to pose a problem. I think my ring ends up flopping a little bit to the side and ends up in between the fingers on the glove. I have long fingers so the end of the finger on the glove never reaches the end of my real finger where my ring sits, though.
