Not sure if this link will work...but for those of you that spent the 70's as kids...you should like a few of these...you have to watch a commercial first.  But it is worth it to get to go through the time warp!

Hope you like it...you young whipper snappers will find it goofy, but the 70's were.  Well, from what I have heard anyway.    I am still 29 so I have only heard of the 70's...

Ok, I was born in 1977 and I did recognize a couple things, that was kinda cool!

Did you know they've resurrected Holly Hobbie--she has a whole new look now and it's a bit sad, I liked her the way she was when I was a kid!

they have brought back a lot of my childhood toys. along with Holly Hobby is strawberry shortcake, My little Pony and a couple of others. it's so strange to see my kids wanting and playing with the same toys that I had..

Man, our toys were lame!  No wonder I preferred to play with dirt!

Does anyone remember Fluppy Dogs?

Didn't know about the new Holly Hobby.  I sure was happy to see Hello Kitty stuff again.  And no Harriet, I can't remember any dog that was fluppy. sorry.  If I saw a picture I bet I would!!!

I just love how the anouncer is selling the item to the demographic.  And it seems that a MANLY voice was the chosen one.  It sorta sounds like an audio from a movie trailer.

The kids actually look like kids just off the street and unruly hair and play clothes.  It is far more laid back and casual than today.  And NO special effects.  Smash em up cars just smacked into oneanother.  Woo woo.  And that was really all that the kids needed.  The slip and slid you can amost smell the grass (bermuda or fescue is what I mean...)  These commercials were one take...no special editing...just go out and shot this such and such toy.

What happened to a simplier time?
