Hopefully I've uploaded correctly--received my .808  I  Si2 loose diamond from White Flash this weekend as upgrade for my 28th wedding anniversary!  My Mom picked it up and said "Honey--the package is big enough to fit a bathrobe in it"  It was triple wrapped--nothing was going to happen to that treasure inside.  So -- I am quite happy with it--The color is great, and I can't see any inclusions with out the loupe--I just see sparkles. No one in the house was under 40 years old--LOL-- so I can't speak for a 3 inch focal point! It looks like it is a little mini flashlight when I hold it in the Pickle catcher. You know, the little grabber that came with it and looks just like the gadget I bought once for fishing pickles out the the jar.

The big conundrum now is what setting to buy. I am thinking-- vatche, or the legato head from WF either with pave or plain I can't decide, but now that I have my diamond I want to wear it so I am more motivated to choose. any suggestions for setting is appreciated.

I'll edit that first pic smaller if someone tells me how--and I think I should've put this in the SMTR area--except that I'll take any suggestions for setitngs. Move me if you need to!

Your new diamond is beautiful!! But I love your old ring, too! It is so pretty!  I can't be of too much help on settings...there are too many to choose from! I'd probably choose from the WF settings just to make life easier, though! The Legato is very pretty.

~~~ When in doubt...don't.~~~
Wow! What a gorgeous diamond! I would be motivated to pick a setting quickly, too!
Personally, I love the WF pave legato setting...it's just the right amount of bling. It won't take away from your center stone but it will look delish!
Here's the WF pic of the diamond--
After we saw the diamond  we both realized (Hubby and me) that the original ring was too delicate for it and should stay untouched,we're both very sentimental about it and it will be fun to wear it now and then. I love the Legato with pave band but everytime I showed a pic of it he said he didn't like it. Eventually he got the drift---OHH now I know why you keep showing me that same picture and asking if I like it! He's a bit slow but I'll keep him anyway LOL. He said to get whatever I wanted. I have tried on some Vatche rings but I wonder if they look too big on my fingers? I took some pics at the jewelry store and thought they looked good there--then thought they looked too big in the pictures for my thiin fingers. Anybody else do that--find that the pic is different from your perspective?
