How do you pronounce Leon Mege?

Leon May-j? (rhymes with beige?)
Leon mee-gee?
Leon mee-jee?
Leon meg-ee?
Leon meg-ay?

I just don't want to sound like an idiot if I say his name to a vendor or something.

And no...I could never afford him.

I always thought it was Leon May-jay (softer "j", like in beige). Good question!

I call him Leon Medge because I am so lazy haha... but I think it is supposed to be Leon MeayJay. (like beige).

He told me it is a french name. So, how would "Mege" be pronounced in French (I don't speak it).

I've always pronounced it to rhyme with beige in my head. I thought that sounded french...but then again so do Mara's and poptarts versions! AHHH

Maybe I can just stick with a first name. I'm sure if I say "Leon" the vendors will know who I'm talking about, right?

Well it depends on which vendor, I read here that Leon at Whiteflash has to do with their custom designs, so he may get mixed up with him.

It's funny, whenever I see his name here I practice his name out loud (good thing I'm usually by myself when I do this).  I always keep coming back to the same pronounciation Mara.  Sometimes  though it's "mej," with a soft j sound if that makes sense.

Well I know I'm wrong, and don't think I've ever said it out loud, but in my head I say May-gay.  Definitely not right.

I was in his office once and my friend asked him that...

This is what we heard:

MEGÉ=

Meh-ZSH-EH  (ME as in "met", the G sound as in "beige", and the accented and stressedsylable of the É as in the first e of "every")
