Hi Girls!.  I know how good you guys are at tracking down pictures...so here is a little challengue....

I was watching the recreation of Christina Aguilera's Wedding on "My Celebrety Wedding" on the Sttyle netwrk...anyway, I loved her dress, her hair (with the flower) and her veil.  It's teh look I want to go for since the veil almost had a "Mantilla" look (very Spanish), I love the flower on the side (but with the hair being half up instead of the traditional Spanish full hair up), and I love the dress (except I'm not crazy about the shape on the top, the curves of the strapless part...I would rather that be straight).

I couldn't find any good pictures of that show...but do you have have any idea who designed that dress or who makes a similar dress?.  Also, any pictures of the hair and veil, if you find them, would be helpful

This is all I could find:

http://www.wedlok.com/lasvegaswedding/celebrities/christina_aguileras_wedding_recreated_on_the_style-110177.html

Thanks in advance

M~

Hi Luckstar!...That's the actual dress Christina wore...I was looking for a dress similar to what the girl on the remake of Christina's wedding wore...haha...so I would be copying the girl that copied Christina! hehe...thanks though :)

I think Pronovias would also have some similar gowns too....

this is the picture from the knot site that momof2inpa gave me...

Love it

It has a Flamenco flavor to it....it would be perfect!...I wonder how much that is, but I am sure it is expensive.  My mom and sister are giving me the dress, btu I don't want them to spend too much on it!...

Hi there-

The dress is by Pnina Tornai who is an exclusive designer for Kleinfeld's in NYC. I actually tried on a similar dress and then saw promos for the show and fell in love with that dress (without knowing who created it). I was a little devastated that it was Pnina because her dresses start at $5000...

I'm still on the hunt for my dress needless to say.

Mandarine,

This isn't the same dress, but it looks very similar (from what I can tell). It's a Demetrios, and brides.com puts it between $1000 and $1500:

Demetrios Blue (DB-103)

Here's another similar gown called "Rever" by San Patrick, which looks to be a division of Pronovias:

Mandarine,

The dress I ended up with has a somewhat similar feel, with less pouf on the bottom, but I ended up getting it at a clearance outlet! It's a Judd Waddell, he has some designs that are similar. My dress retailed for $4,000 but since it was a sample I got it for less than 1/4 of that price! I HIGHLY recommend the bridal sample sales.

How do I find a bridal sample sale?

I might end up with less pouf in the bottom...I also like the pronovias dresses that have the flower on the side, those are so lovely too!...
so many options, so little money, so much time..hehe

I just called a local high end store and asked if they had sample sales. They then told me about their "outlet" location about 1/2 an hour away and the rest is history!

Worth an ask!

I love that style of dress too!  I have considered many like it.  I definitely would take a good close look at Maggie Sottero gowns...she makes a lot that have a similar feel.  I'm going to attach pics of some that I think look similar...

Facetfire, thos are so pretty!!!!!!!!!

I love the 2nd and 3rd!

I definitely have to try some one!. I am definitile on the hippie side (as is wider hips) but I have a small waist so they look good...who knows, I just have to try some on and see.

I love the look though...it's very romantic and elegant!...

Thank you girls!!!
