Ive been looking through mall listings and found that in the florida mall there is a store called Diamond Source, has anyone used them or had dealings with them as to what they offer ie do they sell full rings or do/can they make rings? Ive found a similar named site starting with #1diamond source but they are based in NY so i dont know if the 2 are linked here is the one in florida mall Or am i better sticking to the 2 hour drive to Abazias? It just seems a bit selfish to the kids going to florida and hogging at leat 5 hours on 2 days when were only there for 14 days. |

There are only a limited number of names for jewelry stoes and you need to be careful about ones that have very similar monikers in different locations. There's quite possibly a 'Diamond Source Jewelers' in Paris (Texas), London (Connecticut) and Cairo (Illinois). They may all be fine firms but the similarity of names is not evidence that they are related to one another. To really find out, ask directly at each of the stores. The ones with multiple locations are usually very proud of this fact and are thrilled to discuss it with you. Here's an alternative suggestion, which may or may not work for you. Richard Sherwood does "house calls". He has a traveling lab. Check out stones from the Pricescope dealers. Have the stones sent to Richard, and perhaps you can hire him to travel to you in Orlando, where you can pick the stone you prefer with his guidance and assistance. NO sales pressure from a seller. You'll get an unbiased person, to help you who works for YOU. The dealers will send the stones to him without you laying out funds in advance. You can see several stones from several dealers, and the cost of what Richard might charge you is minor when you compare it to the price of the stone. Plus you won't have to travel and can do it there at your hotel in Orlando. Rockdoc
