ok everyone i need some advice. i just recently got engaged and am now looking for wedding bands. my ring looks just like marielevin's ring. I LOVE IT! pricescope is where i discovered leon mege and all the fanatics of his work. anyhow i spoke to Leon today about a wedding band and as you all know of course he doesnt recommend wearing w-band next to his rings. i actually had the audacity to ask him about soldering the e-ring to w-ring! LOL! it cracks me up because earlier i was looking thru post relating to my problem and one lady said she was afraid to even mention soldering to leon for fear of him refunding her money, taking his ring back and kicking her out of his store. i couldnt help laughing at that. leon recommended a spacer or wearing w-band on right hand. so does anyone have pics of what a spacer would look like in between the rings? please post for me! thx!
and can all you ladies with leon rings that have chosen to take the risk and wear your w-band with the ering please let me know if you've ran into any problems. i think i remember reading about ginger wearing hers together. im cosidering wearing it together but i just want to know how bad is it? thank you!

I have a ring by Leon with pave on 3 sides. I consider it my one and only ering/wedding ring for my left hand and do not wear anything with it. Having any metal scraping my beautiful pave would be awful!! When I picked my design I did it with the understanding that it would stand alone.

If you choose to wear something next to your ering expect the possibility of stones getting chipped (If they rub). Seems like there was someone on PS who was very upset that her wedding and engagement rings were doing damage to eachother. I guess it all depends on the style you pick and how much wear you expect to be normal.

Leon's work is beautiful and expensive.  If you have three-sided pave work, I would not recommend wearing a wedding band next to it, it's just not worth the risk of damage.  You are wearing thousands of dollars of labor, metal, and stones on your hand.  I would take his advice and wear a spacer or wear the wedding band on your other hand.

I think a few psers have spacer bands, but I can't think of who at the moment.  I would do a search for spacer and see if you can come up with any.

researcher wears a spacer, although she doesn't have pave: also, if you type in spacer band in the search box some other threads should pop up for you.

here's her thread:

Not an LM owner/wearer (I wish!) but I wear a thin antique wedding band as a spacer between my eternity band and my e-ring to prevent rubbing and because my antique eternity w-band is a smidge too big.

I just had my computer "wiped" clean so I don't have any pics handy but I have posted in the past- do a search for "stacked bands" and some should come up- so you can get an idea of what they look like.

Sometimes I wear my e-ring on my right hand- I always wear my w-band on my left hand.

Hi Cushcut. I hope to be a Leon Mege wearer soon - he's currently setting a stone for me. Can't wait!

I'm not an expert, but I think the thing you want to avoid is diamonds rubbing against diamonds. Diamonds can chip and scratch other diamonds. There was a thread here about 2 months ago where this was a huge problem - significant chips in the diamonds and considerable expense to repair the problem.

GingerBCookie has a LM E-ring and wedding band, I think both have three-sided pave and she wears them together. Here's her first thread and here's
her other wedding band thread

though I don't think the pictures work anymore

if it were me, I'd go with what the designer of the ring suggests or recommends. If i were getting a michael b which is designed for the bands to be worn together and they are ok (according to the michael b people anyway) then I'd probably do it. If i were getting a Leon and he said not to wear them together or only do it occasionally, then I would listen to him. with a Leon ring, they are works of art, i really wouldn't want any side of it covered by another ring, let it stand on it's own and wear the wedding ring on the right hand.

yes im not opposed to wearing the w-band on the right hand but i just feel the band on my ering is a little thinner then i would like. it would definitly look thicker and better if there was a w-band next to it. i dont know...maybe just sometimes i can wear it together. = )
