For example, what percentage by weight of rough diamonds produced are smaller than 0.10 carats, 0.11 to 0.5 carats, 0.51 to 0.75 carats, 0.76 to .99 carats, 1 to 2 carats, 2 to 3 carats and larger than 3 carats. Apparently, only one in 10,000 rough stones exceeds one carat in size. G.Pearse
