NWR: prayers for my mom |

after 3-4 weeks of a mystery illness we finally got mom an ultrasound and it showed multiple masses in her abdomen, mainly surrounding her liver, and fluid surrounding both lobes of her liver. i am freaking out- she's normally the picture of health, and the spunkiest most energetic 79 year old i know (i was a late in life baby and the youngest of 6 so mom is a tad older) my sister and i are taking her for a CAT scan tomorrow and then have to wait 1 day at least for a prelim reading. i'm being optimistic and trying to hope for the best, but when you hear the words "multiple masses" it is very scary. so, i know a bridal board isn't the best place to post this, but i just wanted to ask you guys for somes prayers- she's been so frustrated with the way she's been feeling that at this point we just want answers. thanks and hugs Labbie |

This is a great place to let yourself feel everything and the people here are a wealth of support and comfort. I know firsthand. I am so sorry to hear about the masses and I hope that whatever is going on, it is something easily treatable and your mom can be on the road to recovery.
