a jewler on longisland is offering to make me a custom ring with .16 baguettes and .08 inset princess cuts for 1620 in platinum. He says that I would look at the mold and then decide. Im worried because he said he does not need the exact dimensions of ring to set it as long as i tell him the carot weight and it doesnt have a drastic spread. (its 1.07 rnd ideal) is this unusual?? do the baskets come and then get modified for six prong?

The baskets come in 4 or 6 prong and various sizes. All he has to do is install the head and set the diamond. No big deal for a good jeweler. dimonbob, GG |
