Vendor for sourcing sappires in Boston or New Haven?

We've looked around online at NSC, but she'd like to find a local vendor/jeweler in Boston or New Haven to call in stones and advise her. The problem is that there seem to be very few options here between Zales and Cartier. Does anyone have a favorite Boston area vendor that they trust and who is knowledgeable about colored gems? Any information would be helpful. Thanks in adance!

They have a few other stores in Mass. but I'm not sure where. They carry really nice pieces. Maybe they could help. Practice an attitude of gratitude!
