The price of this stone is $4900. My budget is about max $6000. I would like a 1.5ct. can i get anything eye clean?

The reason the stone is so cheap is because of the poor cut.

Lesson number one, CUT is king. It is the most important thing to focus on. And a well cut 1 ct. stone will face up/look better/bigger than a poorly cut 1.25.

So, I would advise getting the best cut stone you can, which in an I or J is somewhere in the 1.15-1.24 range. And if you go with someone who has a good upgrade policy, you can trade it in down the road.
