Hello - We have found a gorgeous 0.7 carat, E color, VVS2 stone. We were thinking of having it set in the attached setting, but am not to sure if it will look very nice. It is platinum with three channel set princess stones on either side of the center, with total weight of 0.3 carats, F-G color, VS quality. We are thinking to reconsider a soltaire setting, because of the color difference, and the size/proportion difference. Does anyone have any input??? ![]()

A solitaire and the set (picture you gave us) are two different looks. We have set this style of diamond before in a setting (like you show) and it is a great look! They are both conservative styles , you cant miss. The total weight vs the size is fine. Remember it goes in a different head then pictured and the "V" tipped prongs will give the diamond a boost so it will seem larger. Best of luck
