I have noticed a stone on Rhino's site which on the GIA certificate is noted as Very Thin to Thin but on Good Old Golds report is rated as Medium. I think from reading other reports that GOG's report is based on the AGS measurement guidelines. I know that GIA do not print their measurements on the report but can any of you tell me what GIA measurements would be for Very Thin, Thin, Medium, Slightly Thick. Has anyone noticed this before, does this mean that GIA and AGS believe in different cut statistics? |
